Born in 1972 in Nowa Ruda. In 1996 graduated in painting from the Faculty of Painting and Sculpture of the Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław.

Laureate of numerous awards and honours including:

1996
– Minister of Culture and Art Prize “Promotions `96”

1998
– Rector’s Award (Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław) of The Eugeniusz Geppert Painting Contest

2006
– honorary mention at the Biennial of Young Art “Rybie Oko” [Fisheye]

2007
– Łossskot” magazine’s honorary mention for the most interesting personalities in culture in 2007

2011
– Minister of Culture and National Heritage Fellowship.
