Biennale of the Young European Art is an international artistic project, presenting newest tendencies of European art. It is a traveling exhibition that since 2000 has been shown all around Europe. Its foundation and the leading idea is the art exchange between European countries. The exhibition focuses on the presentation of trends distinctive for artists aged to 35 years. All of them are young artists, graduates of artistic schools, some of them are already visible on the art market, others are more independent not necessarily related with private institutions. The Biennale which is made out of they mutual cooperation happened to be a kind of a platform for the art exchange and also for the expression of different ways of perceiving art in various countries.

The Biennale of the Young European Art in Wrocław start 30th of June 2016 and is a part of the European Capital of Culture Wrocław 2016. The exhibition has been organized by the City Gallery in Wrocław and will be shown at the Wrocław Congress Centre right next to the historic building of the Centennial Hall. The dance and fire performance of Pa-Li-Tchi Theatre will be a part of the opening ceremony.
